Power Industrial Truck (PIT) and Forklift Operator Training

(Counterbalanced / Narrow Aisle / Standing or Seated Operator)

This training aims to provide participants with the necessary and updated information for the safe operation of Industrial Forklifts / Industrial Trucks / Forklifts. During the course, participants will acquire knowledge on the development of activities under ANSI / ITSDF B56.1 and B56.6, OSHA 1910.178, and manufacturer recommendations, as well as best practices in managing the risk associated with load movement activities with this type of equipment, generating a safe and productive work environment.

This training is intended for forklift operators of the following types: Counterbalanced / Narrow Aisle / Standing or Seated Operator / Stackers, High Load Lifting Equipment (forklifts according to ITA classification 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 -5) so that they are qualified in the recognition and prevention of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to their work environment, in this way any hazard or other exposure to illness or injury can be controlled or eliminated.

The introductory module presents training objectives, safety statistics, and key definitions of forklift operation, establishing a solid foundation for understanding the importance of safe operation.

PIT Module 3: Equipment Management

The module focuses on risk management associated with equipment, covering pre-operational inspection, limitations, and stability of the forklift (PIT) and load. Participants will learn to perform detailed checks, understand the capabilities and restrictions of the equipment, and maintain stability during operation for safe use.
